or a repost of that :

an asus ASUS GT640-1GD5-L is a great card... 49 watts max.

but a 6850 is about twice as fast on tombraider...
6850 high 40.8,58.4,50.2
6850 ultra 23.8,38.0,31.1
6850 ultimate 15.5,26.4,19.9

gt640v2 high 22.8,35.0,27.6
gt640v2 ultimate 8.4,16.5,11.8

gtx650(1g) high 32.1,50.0,40.8 ;stock pny (1059/1250)

gtx650(2g) high 35.0,54.6,44.9 ;stock evga sc (1202/1250)
gtx650(2g) ultra 23.3,35.0,28.9
gtx650(2g) ultimate 12.5,20.8,16.5
but the 6850 will draw at max 129 watts so it will overload your 220watt psu.

or the repost :
that gtx650 is a great card and it will also work with that Anemic 220 watt psu... (and yes that seasonic is also an awesome suggestion)

i have a MYTHbuntu system with a evga 650 superclocked (1202) it has a g1620,asus h77,8GB,3HDDs(2 WD av/gp 3TB, 2TB seagate) and a Seasonic x400 fanless... (subtract 10 watts for only 1 drive)

gtx 650 idles at 46.8Watt;mprime 60.5Watt; 125 Watt furmark+mprime... (evga superclocked)
gtx 660 idles at 47.3Watt;mprime 61.3Watt; 185 Watt furmark+mprime... (pny standard)

I still got me xfx 7950gt with passive heatsink still works . very good build quality
iv got better computer now but Ive still got my first build with 7950gt can still run all the latest games at low settings.
I was going to stick with XFX cards on later builds but im weary of the high power consumption
I just want my gpu to use only the power it needs.
anything that waists' energy it does not need is ridiculous.
Corsair gold standard psu and sapphire gpu PowerTune and PowerPlay is the way to go.
Saves money in the long run

do you mean a NVIDIA 7950gt?... because if so, powertune and powerplay are AMD technology.

and the NVIDIA 7950gt (2006) is most likely the same speed as a zotac gt630v2 zone! (gk208 or with the 64 bit bus)

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500304

i do not own a NVIDIA 7950gt so i can't test it. but using my old 3dmark03 scores i can compare scores...

the highest valid NVIDIA 7950gt 3dmark03 score on 3dmark is 20599
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm03/6487045

my score with a gt640v1(ddr3 gk107) is 32040 (approx same system)
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm03/6497130

i don't have a score for 3dmark03 with a gt630v2 (will update, but 3dmark03 won't allow me to upload my scores, so i will add the score "real soon now"...

(problem with that score is the graphics driver is not approved... but i dont think it matters... the thing is a gt640v1 is a bit slower than the gt640v2. and the gt630v2 zone compared to a gt640v2 is about 60 percent slower which makes it the same speed as the NVIDIA 7950 GT.
BUT has a 4-6 watt idle power and a max 25 watts, and directx11. and new drivers.

now, if you have the AMD 7950, that is a completely different story, because the 7950 is alot more powerful than the gt640.

TL;DR... a gt640v2, is a great card that idles at a very low power comsumption. the asus gt640v2(64 bit bus) has standard holes for the arctic cooler accelero 2 heatsink, if you are so inclined to make the asus gt 640v2 silent (i have done so, and you can overclock it. to 1242/6000)

lol

Yeah I know that eye
I was on about my old first build and mentioned the NVidia card.
And then Im talking about my newer builds.and future builds.

sorry my fault my grammar is terrible.

but remember those old graphic cards from years ago with the little fan very noisy fan, Now compare that to the top of the range of graphics cards with passive fanless coolers you get these days I think the top of the range for passive cooling is thi 7750s and they play any old game easy at full spec .Its amazing how fast technology advances.
Im a big fan of silent computers.

and they still have the noisy little fans... i have wrecked more than one GPU, trying to silence them lol.

but because the cards are getting more Efficient is is alot easier to deal with the heat of the gpu's today. and those aftermarket heatsinks aren't overload by the gpus...

for example the zotac zone gt630v2, at max load will heat up to 97c... the gt640v2 with the arctic cooling accelero 2 does not go over 55c... (the stock Heatsink probably heats up to 90c)
