I'll have to lap my h100i to get the clu off. Never again. Shit was bonded to it and ruined the flatness of the copper waterblock.
I'm on my 7th or 8th apply and i never had issue.

I've done alot of thermal paste testing on the die/ihs and ihs/hs, thats why ive done 7 or 8 CLU/CLP application in the past month.

Ah, i see! that work doesn't come without a price
Do you have any idea/exp to the longevity of the paste? I been several months, very difficult to service the CPU in my build

Longest ive run to date is ~3 weeks with CLU on the die/ihs and CLP ihs/hs. Removal was EZ. Swipe dry then swipe with alcohol and voilà !

I seen couple complaints saying the paste went almost solid, like solder almost! Not sure if this was between ihs & hsf or on a delidded core... If i can get 6 - 12 months between services of the CPU i'll be ok, anything more frequent i think i gonna
