Stopped at the Type T-34 for that tech tree. Opted to get the 'original' (T-34-85) instead of the Type 58 too.

The T-34 and T-34/85 are certainly better thans than the Chinese versions.
It is not until tier 7 that you get some good tanks in the Chinese tree.
I would go as far as to saying that the tier 7~9 heavies are better than the IS line.

God I love the Russian line.... as soon as I stopped my British line, and went Rusky, my win rate jumped. Got my KV-1s, the lovely little monster, now, and going to elite my KV-1, then grind the T-150 line. The tier 10 members of my clan suggest that's a good route.... is it?

Depends on your general playstyle. My first tier X is actually the IS-7, and for the IS-4 line I've only researched until the KV-3.

Between the two the IS-7 is more for attacking (faster, and higher alpha) while the IS-4 is for defense (better armor, faster firing), when talking about Clan Wars.

anybody playing with the T21 or remember the T21?
it's horrid. it's a dying machine.
i am just glad i am not too worried about my stats yet because this would certainly put a dent in it.
i already don't think i am a good light tank/ scout player but i usually can make it work. with this tank, i don't know. if you think the T43 or T44 grind was dry, try the T21.
it doesn't help that MM throws this tier 6 scout into heavy tier 10 matches.
i had a match with 6 tier 10, 4 tier 9 and 4 tier 8 tanks. i was shaking in my shell.
i am closer to a mosquito on the field then any feline

Been playing with aa since I got the extra graphics power. After many combinations, found in game fxaa, with 2x supersampling gave best results. Testing with 16x af now, but not sure if it helps.

I have 8xAA, 16xAF, everything enhanced, absolute max detail in game on each setting with Vertical Sync enabled and I still get 61FPS with just a single HD7870 so you should be able to bleed more out of your setup, assuming of course WoT can use SLi?

Worst grind I had so far behind vk db, both tanks are unsuitable for the job they are designed to do, and they can do nothing else. T71 is a beast though, so persevere a bit.

I supersample x8 which is why I have vertical sync enabled, mine stutters without it, I should mention my 7870 is running at 1250 - 1300mhz though

Hmm, I might try vertical sync then... I get occasional stutters... on another note, how much silver can you earn in one match in a KV-1? This much!

Looks like you have a 25k mission bonus in there, I got 283,000 last night for one battle, I was dancing around the study until I saw I had a 250k bonus.

I'm exited about patch 8.9: 2nd German TD line Tier 10 is the Waffenträger E-100, 150mm 5 rounds drum auto loader, or even better IMO: 128mm L/61 6 rounds drum with auto loader. No armor though.
