Check warranty in your local area, and go for the one who gives a better warranty.

Both cards have 1Gig dedicated Ram, Both cards are also at the lower end of the scale. If flashgames or 'farmville' style games are your things - both will last forever, for everything else, maybe not so much depending how good you want your graphics to look.

if youre talking about it more in terms about how reliable the card is based on build quality - Id say MSI, XFX are good but they like to dodge around and mess with warranties when they can - Otherwise luck of the draw.

Depends which part of the world youre from, If youre a non euro then XFX is OK. If youre a Euro, forget XFX as you get played by their warranty policies.

On the other hand, we have an active MSI rep on these forums who is always willing to help if there is a problem so MSI gets my vote. The extra premium over the other card is well worth its price when theres an active rep.

I had 2 XFX 7950 DD and the cooling was appalling, 95C+ on the rear of the PCB, air into the top card was at 55C+. They just couldn't handle any prolonged usage. Looked great though. I even down clocked them to 800MHz @ 1v (from 925MHz @ 1.25v) and they still cooked up to 85C during Valley benchmark.

Go for the one that does not void the warranty if you remove the cooler to clean it.
