I feel for you, the anticipation sucks sometimes.

You're not missing too much. I got through the campaign about halfway and it seemed lackluster. Sorry if spoiling too much, but BF single player has never been its selling point.

I almost exclusively used the P90 while playing engineer in BF3, something about it was just perfect for close quarter action on Siene and Bazaar. I can't wait to see how it handles in BF4.

Connect to US afterwards your client should start dling something, if it does start to DL something close the program that was downloaded so that you can reconnect using your own connection and your game should now be unlocked.

If this doesn't work, download all the updates using right click check for updates with your own connection then repeat the method above instead this time start a campaign then disconnect from the VPN.

They they are kinda pea shooters too...that MX4 is just a pistol on steroids.

I never liked BF3 all that much, I felt they tried too hard to make it playable to CoD players (no offence to fans of BF or CoD though). I'll probably still get BF4 though just because friends will have it.

Wish I would have had Shadow Play going when I did my first reverse knife on a guy on Flood Zone (I think that's the map) and then proceeded to kill 6-7 others with just my pistol.

Mine was playing fine while the son was checking it out and he crashed thru the glass on the tower and it froze. The frame rate seemed fine though. I'm gonna tweak it a little before I start tonite.

That's what I'm experiencing, but at random intervals. The frames are smooth, but the game locks up and crashes. I'm not too terribly worried about it, but it is annoying.

So I was on my way to work earlier and my debit card was declined at a POS. I was freaking out because I needed to grab some essentials for my night. I called my bank and they said that they suspected there may be fraudulent charges on my account.

Crash to desktop could be CPU or even GPU overclock. Tone it down or go back to stock to see. Could be even more sensitive to such than BF3 (and BC2 before it) was, a bit early to be sure of that but have seen plenty of reports of heavy even full load on hardware.

Also don't forget to run PBSetup.exe if you haven't; that goes for everyone. Just as general maintenance.

The worst part of course is if you want to stay on that server you will lose your K/D

Not Overclocking anything since SSD install. I went into the BF4 file and tested the PBSRV. I couldn't find the set up.

Cool, I've just now run PBSetup as you suggested. The upgraded graphics drivers didn't work, but I was able to play for a bit longer.

I haven't overclocked my hardware, otherwise I'd try as you suggest on that front. My friend is experiencing the same issues with his Nvidia hardware so I don't think it's only AMD related. We'll see, hopefully there are enough reports now for another patch in the near future.

I will say though that the Flood Zone map is a ton of fun.

This game better come up cheap on an xmas steam sale. And fixed I hope. Unless I get kepler cards donated to me, and thats not likely.... Don't think I can afford to buy this right now until sli is fixed, oh well.

Did the Punkbuster + MSI afterburner issue ever get fixed? I'm still getting the occasional lockup or crash to desktop playing in thin windowed mode with the battlescreen on another monitor.

Other than the issue with sound dropping, this has been the most satisfied I've been with a game since UT2k4 probably. Feels like we finally got a full blown PC-centric game here with lots of different ways to play and good stuff galore.
