I too feel the maps are a bit underwhelming.... cant expalain it.....they are beautiful don't get me wrong. But something feels wrong about alot of them. There is too much huge open space I think and vehicles just trounce infantry. And Im a classic BF conquest guy, can't put my finger on it. Hopefully some more time will change my mind.
P.S I didn't find this on siege of shanghai.

I've noticed theirs alot of deadspace between points where infantry are very vulnerable. Fighting at points is generally well balanced, but it's almost like the devs got lazy and the between point map making is kinda plain. Theirs not enough natural cover/trees/rocks on alot of maps. And the spawns kinda force you to either wait for a vehicle to die and respawn or run for a solid 5 minutes only to get sniped or killed by a vehicle.
Maybe if the points were a bit closer together or perhaps their were other points in between? I've always liked the idea of minor capture points that don't effect the score but can serve as respawns.
