Running at ultra only AA POST effects off for sharpness.
My GTX 670 doesn't even get hot at 2900x1000. (57ºC max)
Doing the SP campaign and it is slow then fast paced, I like to explore everything (fortunately there are quite many place to search through). It is close to Crysis3 in beauty.

MP: ok,

But no sound or missing sounds sometimes (16G RAM here, cant be latency)... And the zoom-in (optics) sound is overkill, it sounds as if a mechanical telescopic mechwarrior arm is extending... zooommmmmmbammmclak! ;)

When i actually get to play it tomorrow, I don't think I will be playing on US servers as you lot have had 2 or 3 days to play it before Europe so you'll all be lvl 10, I'll get owned.

Starting to get the hang of BF4. found a few maps I enjoy quite a bit already. But will be staying away from ones like Shanghai, they just don't interest me.

2 of my last 3 rounds have crashed mid game :banghead:

Server crashes or client crashes/freezing? If the later try the new drivers, if the former, yeah that sucks.

I played a round on the laptop in my signature last night at 720p and low settings. It plays fine and I maybe able to bump it up a little. This game is Optimized a lot better then BF3 was. My sons Athlon IIx4 with 4 gigs of DDR2 and a gtx 460LE is playing it on high. He said is was skipping a little this morning, but probably server related because it played good last night. They are hooking up the rest of the world today so servers may have issues I'd think. Both BFBC2 and BF3 had a lot of that when first released. If you have a Nvidia card you have to update drivers though or you will definitely have shitty FPS.

Yeah once the storm comes in it is crazy the way it changes how you play the game. So far it is my favorite, but I have only played a few maps so far.
I wasn't nearly as impressed by Flood zone, but it is still good. Lots of places to get ambushed that is for sure.

Well yeah that sucks for you right now but hopefully will help people like Dos101 and especially all the present SOL complainers at BLog and Reddit and shit who are convinced the game is inherently broken/not ready for release somehow. At least I know for sure that Dos and people here have attempted proper troubleshooting. These people point to "33 pages" at BLog as proof. Do you know how many more there would be if most could not play as opposed to the opposite?

Yeah the boats actually end up under the water for a time due to the waves. Highly doubt a gunner would be able to hold on IRL lol. They also provide constantly changing cover. It's awesome.

Bloddy EA played dirty with language versions, it was always no problem with changing to whether language you wanted with previous battlefield games. Now when I buy a shitty Polish version I can't go English anymore.
Got any good EU store with English keys ?

Yeah it ain't as easy as leading a tank with an RPG. I had a hell of time even hitting them the other night when I was sitting at E. I'm never doing that again. The odds are way in the boats favor once the swells start. Heavy guns already give it a good advantage. Gonna have to find the soft spot on them too. Take's 3 RPG's to blow them up. I'm assuming they have a soft spot. We should hit that map tonite and go strictly boats once the storm moves in.

Sure.

And still easier than leading a heli with an RPG. If you're not LevelCap, at least.

I found it to be CPU intense (I5-3570k @ 4.4GHz, 80-90% usage, 60fps 1080p) not GPU intense. A single 7950 will run fine on ultra.

Can confirm as I'm running a 7950 on Ultra as well with no issues. Still debating whether I should upgrade my CPU soon or not.

Yeah, and it's nice because not a ton of flying vehicles on that map. Mostly boat work. Played a round on that last night and got my hands on the big boat and went 25/3. Once the waves hit it was pretty sweet, provided some good cover, but also made landing shots on enemy boats much more difficult. Either way that big boat does major work, and it's nice that you can cap most flags from the water.

My favorite map though is the Railway. The villages up near A/B/C flags is just amazing. I basically live up there, drive up in a tank, once I can't hold the tank anymore, I jump into the houses and start doing foot work. Love mpas that vehicles and foot soldiers can be effective on, all those homes to hide in. Plus buildings can actually be dropped on that map. Though I got to admit the destruction of some of the zones up there is pretty generic. Hit a wall thats maybe 30ft wide by 15ft tall and it explodes in a perfect rectangle and is just a bunch of flying triangles in the air. Overall though good map.

I'll probably be staying away from TDM. At the end of BF3 I almost exclusively played TDM and had fun with it. The rotating spawn system because second nature. I could figure where a team was spawning, and decide if I wanted to try to move to where they were spawning and kill them, doing so would now give us that spawn location. So it kind of felt like a small conquest. But the spawning in TDM on BF4 is so damn random it's irritating, and the map selection is not very good. I spawned in numerous times with enemies directly behind me. Thats bound to happen in TDM, but usually in BF3 it did it's best not to spawn you next to enemies. Also the edges of maps don't have great boundaries, instead before the edges of the map there is great cover, meaning people just sit at the edge of the map and camp, which is easy since you spawn near the edges. Overall just seems like poor layouts and spawns, so might check them out later when its refined.

Well I have a Phenom 1090T and as long as I'm getting ultra I'm sticking with it. I took my overclock off it too. Unless you are looking for a reason I wouldn't.

I'll probably do TDM match when I get impatient for an unlock. It is harder for me to get high scores like you guys, unless I play Domination or TDM.

It's awesome, the heavy boats absolutely rape as well.. Mines fully decked out.

Only problem is, none of the other maps match that ones epicness..

They did exactly what I was wanting during the beta on Shanghai.

When the building falls now it creates a massive wave in the water that goes out.

And it looks better when the building is falling. Also they toned down on the dust textures for the rest of the map.
