Gigabyte GTX760 OC 4GB - Screen tearing in YouTube videos.

I get this screen tearing at the bottom of the top 1/4 of the screen. I don't seem to notice it in games, but it shows up on YouTube videos. I've tried enabling and disabling, in various combinations, triple buffering and VSync, to no avail. I'm one step away from replacing the card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't think it's the monitor, as I've seen it on my old Samsung monitor, and it's probably not the drivers, as they're the latest version.

Did you try rolling back the drivers to a previous version? Has this issue been present from the moment you installed the card in your system?

I would Dis-able ANY Nvidia related Video Optimization's. I haven't Run a Green GPU in Quite some time, But AMD has a setting called "global" video setting's, meaning Your local PC Video player's e.g. WMP , VLC, etc.. and Youtube ,and the like online. Try Disabling anything like THAT in the Nvidia Control panel. If NOT successful, then roll back driver's.

I haven't had an issue with Chrome before. My old setup used the same drivers, even though it was a GTS250. I can't "roll back" drivers, as this is a new build for me.

Just uninstall the current drivers and try an older version.

your gts 250 may not have supported certain acceleration features with Chrome, and as it is using them now with your new card, it may be screwing with your vid. Try a diff browser or try to disable the GPU accel on the browser, if that fixes it, at least you know what the problem is.

OK, results: It still happens with older drivers. Tried with 331.82 , 331.40 and 327.23
It only happens in fullscreen, as far as I can tell.
There are no image optimizations.
It also happens with IE, which, afaik, uses a different flash plugin.

any difference in enabling/disabling the flash accel? do you have a link to a vid to see if it happens on mine too?

Turn on windows Aero (don't use classic) and use aero glass. there might be a 2d glitch with the driver.

Makes no difference, sadly.
Here's a random video from my sub box. All the videos I play do it.

Just enabled Aero, and that seems to have fixed it. What the hell?! :D
I really hope this gets fixed, because I really dislike the look of Aero.
Edit: I didn't see your edit before I posted that last message :D

Created account simply to say THANK YOU! I was having this exact issue with all browser based video. Enabling an aero theme with the guidance of this link sorted out the tearing issues. Sweet Jesus, thank you. I was about to go mental.
