Cooler Master Previews the Glacer 360L CPU Liquid Cooler

At CES 2014 Cooler Master is showcasing a new, all-in-one liquid cooling solution, the Glacer 360L. Pictured below, the bigger brother of the October-released Glacer 240L has an 'exclusive design by Cooler Master' (apparently no Swiftech partnership for this new model), and features a copper waterblock, a 3500 RPM pump system, and a radiator packing three 120 mm fans.

By default the Glacer 360L is a CPU cooler but, according to Cooler Master, it can be 'upgraded to cool other components'. The product's price tag has yet to be revealed.

I appreciate that they've included a reservoir in the loop. Too many AIOs refuse to let you easily service them.

Although it says 'exclusive design by Cooler Master', it still looks like s Swiftech H320 with different fans and cpu block/pump cover...

Damn straight it should be! I should hope it has separate blocks you can buy, and apply. The NZXT GPU thing is the first thing I think of when I hear "upgrade ability".

You can use any waterblock you want with these, except for the CPU of course. What makes this kit upgradeable is the fact that it doesn't use a POS pump like those used in the Asetek/CoolIT coolers. The pump in this kit is made in house by Swiftech and is comparable in performance to one of the bigger Laing 35x pumps at similar RPM. To add another block, all you would need to do is drain the loop, get some matching tubing and fittings (3/8" ID, 5/8" OD, I think), install everything and refill the loop.

I have the 240L which is great as long as your motherboard controls it through PWM modulation. Still audible, but not bad for a pump this powerful. Only criticism would be the fan cables - should be black.
