Hey guys, earlier today i got my GTX 760's im running in SLI.
One problem i noticed right away is a blue flickering in games that use SLI ex Battlefield 4.

First thing i thought was i got a bad sli bridge connection.
Shut my pc off, took off the bridge cleaned it out that didn't help, tried turning it upside down (seem to work for alot of people) same problem.

So i just thought.. bad bridge it happens right? Borrowed one from a friend that worked fine in his pc
and i still had the same problem blue flicker at the top of the screen.

I've found two solutions so far, either run the game in Window Mode (meh..) or have two monitors (which i do) and run them in "Duplicate these displays" both stops the blue flickering completly.

Problem is, it makes my 2nd monitor useless and Window mode is far to annoying.
I couldn't find any answers to solve this, i honestly doubt it's a bad bridge i have.

If it was bad, shouldn't i still get that blue flickering no matter if it's in Window Mode or running Duplicate these displays since it's still using SLI.

Any help would be appreciated, i just can't figure this out.

EDIT W/ Solution

Swapped the cards around and it started working flawlessly.

Have you tried doing a clean install of the drivers via "custom install"?

I've reinstalled the drivers twice, without the 3d drivers/software since i don't use it.

No change at all, same old blue flickering.

Install EVERYTHING for the drivers, except HD AUDIO if you use onboard.

Will do, thanks.

Edit: didn't read that right.. i got a dedicated sound card, an Asus Xonar DGX.
onboard is disabled.

Edit2:

Game wont even load completly with a full install of the drivers, black screen and a sound which im guessing is the graphics driver crashing.

Edit3:

Gonna try latest beta driver.

Edit4: late one...

There was no change with beta driver, also when trying to load any game with sli on without using any of the fixes it just black screen and driver crash.

Does it even work when you disable SLI?

Maybe try swapping the cards around? I have no idea what is going on.

it work's fine without sli activated, and i've been monitoring usage etc when they're in sli and they both seem to be working at full capacity during gameplay (98-99% usage)
getting no kind of microstutter or weird anomolies like flickering they're working perfectly.
using the fixes like duplicating monitors works fine not using them and i get black screen, i think it's driver related not hardware related since it works with the fixes.
probably gonna try a clean reinstall of win 8.1 later today.

Listen. I have 2 eVGA SC GTX 760 2GB at 1350/6800 in SLI and Battlefield 4 locks up on me in about 20 minutes of game-play. All other games work fine! EA is working on a patch (Dont use the latest 1.4 patch) to make the game run smoother on newer GPUs especially nVidia's. Battelfield 4 came out way to early. It's still a mess.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried BF 4 with my 2 GTX 760s at stock, my CPU at stock and with SLI disabled. No go. By the way, nice system!

What patch do you speak of? The last 2 already fixed a lot of the SLI issues. Now its down to Nvidia and Drivers IMO.

Been a bit slow at replying but anyway:

Reinstalled Win 8.1 and installed all the latest patches, drivers etc.
Will edit this post when i've tried to see if it actually fixed my problem.

Edit: reinstall had no effect.. launching any game with sli activated (not using any of the fixes) cause black screen while game starts and stays like that untill i force my pc to reboot.

Edit2: Switched the cards around and reseated the bridge...

Edit3: Success!.. atleast partially.. tried ME1 which i had installed on one of my other hdd's and it worked in SLI.. time to try something newer and hope it works..

Edit4: SLI is working perfectly in BF4 now, no black screen and crashes no weird flickering..!

How swapping the cards could have helped i dont know, but it did..

Thanks for all the help and tips everyone.

I'm really glad that worked. Sometimes it's as simple as that. SLI bridges rarely fail. They are very simple devices. I've got 1 that I've been using for 5 years without a problem.

If you want 1 I'll give you 1 for free. Let me know.
