My Comment: i don't remember i have played this game or i might did, but this one looking promising and i would love to try it, it looks like there challenge on this game
Gamers getting their hands on the new Witcher title is a pretty exciting proposition. Even at a glance, the game is absolutely gorgeous. The game’s gritty subject matter, just like always doesn’t seem to shy away from the more gruesome and gory bits of combat. Just like the previous Witcher titles, it’s also going to be presenting the player with a plethora of choices and decisions, from skills to quests and even dialogue. Developers, CD Projekt Red is also pretty confident in their ability to please gamers.
The PC version is DRM free and will look absolutely stunning. While it’s obviously not going to be a pushover on the new consoles, this game’s really going to shine on the PC platform, which is what the developers have intended. Be warned though, if you haven’t played any of the Witcher titles yet, go back and do so if you’re interested in this game. The Witcher 3 is the conclusion to the story arc that started in the first game and while you may really enjoy the eye-candy, you’re going to have a hell of a time following the plot if you’ve missed the first two titles. Sure, you could watch a Youtube re-cap or something like that, but where is the fun in that?
Deep Down:
My Comment: okay as this one only will be in PS4 i don't know if they are going to make pc version but look so challenging game and fun to play and i would love to see a PC version i would add it to my wish list
This raw RPG is polished and beautiful, even if the characters in the trailer are ugly as sin. This PS4 exclusive is supposed to be headed to shelves in 2014. Capcom has a lot packed into this game and with an incredibly unique plot revolving around your character entering a new realm of reality really makes this an appealing title on the PS4. With gameplay that is reminiscent of Dark Souls and Monster Hunter, there is some real potential here, especially with all the options available to the player.
It also looks like the player will be bouncing from one realm to another, one riddled with technology and is in a modern or futuristic world, while the other is rooted in magic, with plenty of monsters and mystery. There’s a distinct and wonderful contrast in the locations that we just haven’t seen much of in gaming.
Dragon Age Inquisition:
My Comment: watching trailers giving u good impression about the game but when u buy the game turn u down, and i hope this one not, cause it look so cool. i'm afraid there is quite enough game would be in my wish list. darn where is my money gone lol
Bioware is at it again, with another immersive and compelling RPG experience and the third installment in the Dragon Age franchise. There appears to be a whole lot of new content too after the second game. Most gamers loved the first Dragon Age, while the second game was accepted with mixed reviews. Well, it looks like Bioware is trying to get the kind of fanfare that the original game had.
The engine looks beautiful and the animations are smooth and fluent looking. Bioware is doing what they do best, too; giving players choices. Not to mention consequences, lots and lots of them. The Frostbite 3 engine is certainly the right choice for Inquisition, with a large and expansive world, and plenty of destruction and massive monsters any fans of Bioware of the Dragon Age series will really have a nice treat to look forward to.
Dark Souls II:
My Comment: this game has already been discussed in the forum so i have nothing to say that it is only been added to my wish list
The true sequel to Dark Souls is coming in 2014 and just like the original, it plans on putting you through a trial by hell fire. This insanely difficult game has players locked in a confused state of pure, unbridled frustration and rewarding satisfaction as they move from one monster to the other. The graphics have been updated and the level of immersion has been increased this time around as the developers have focused on the presentation of the world, giving players a much more exciting experience.
With new mechanics, there are new tactics that can be used. Simple things like being able to carry a torture opens up so many possible options and tactical advantages that players won’t have the same experience. Make no mistake though, this game is going to be just as; if not more difficult than the previous games. If you’re looking for a challenge than this game may be perfect for you.
Project Eternity:
My Comment: Weird!
This single player RPG is coming from our friends at Obsidian Entertainment who are building a rather flexible and interesting game. Project Eternity is scheduled for release in 2014 on Windows, OSX and Linux, giving it a pretty good amount of exposure. This kick started game has a lot of backing, and at the time had been the highest funded game through kickstarter. It’s planning on going back to the roots of companion RPG titles like Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights.
Any fans of classic, real-time RPG titles should be salivating in anticipation of getting their hands on Eternity. The game boasts customizable characters along with multiple party members to help you, giving the player more choices than they can possibly exhaust in one play through. It should be easy enough to get your hands on too, with this game being released through digital distribution sites like Good Old Games (GOG) and Steam. While this game is only coming to various personal computer formats, the design is looking to make it incredibly accessible. Player should be able to run this game on just about any, fairly modern computer that’s available.
Final Fantasy XV:
My Comment: i'm not a fan for final fantasy so i skip it
This game has been a long time coming. With all the headaches and hold ups that cropped up during the development it’s a wonder we’re seeing this game at all. The game was inadvertently delayed when it under went development hell. However after much anticipation it was revealed at this year’s E3 and reintroduced as Final Fantasy XV.
From what we’ve seen so far about this game is it’s ridiculous, in absolutely the best way possible, of course. We are not sure about the release date but we are hoping for a late 2014 slot.
Final Fantasy XIII- Lightning Returns:
Lightning Returns is a bit different from other Final Fantasy titles. First, that is probably the most noticeable is it’s an Action RPG. The new combat system is without a doubt a big leap in another direction for the long-running series. There were quite a few gamers that weren’t particularly happy with the first two renditions of FFXIII and if you were one of those players, give this game a look before you make a final decision about it.
Take the time to look up the “World Drive” concept for this game. In this Final Fantasy you’re simply a person who exists in the world. Whether you’re around or not makes little difference, as people, events and even little secrets can occur without you even being around. This idea alone increase the appeal of the title. At the very least, if you’re the type of gamer who gets choked up over nice sprawling vistas and beautiful scenery then it’s at least worth checking out, because Lightning Returns looks gorgeous.
Lords of the Fallen:
My Comment: from the look of it, that one jumped into my wish list
Another action RPG is coming. Not too much is known about it yet, other than the game gives players plenty of control over their character design with lots of customizable options for players to mess around with. It’s also a free roam design that allows gamers to explore just about every part of the world that they’re playing in. The game does seem to follow the standard story ache of one man against incredibly powerful and surely unbeatable odds.
City Interactive does have a good thing going with this one though, even if the story may not interest you, the massive creatures that you can battle should. Lords of the Fallen has some good talent behind it’s development, some of which have worked on the likes of The Witcher series. If those developers can bring even a bit of magic from Projekt CD Red, then this will definitely be a game to keep your eyes on in 2014.
Mass Effect 4:
It’s no secret that Bioware are working hard on the next entry in the sci-fi franchise, Mass Effect 4. Bioware have’nt revealed the release date but according to rumors, it will be shown at this year’s VGX, making a 2014 release possible. Although, we won’t be seeing our good old Commander Shephard back in action, players should expect some amazing vistas and character animations since the game will be using Frostbite 3.
All the previous entries in the series have been developed using Unreal Engine. Bioware managed to better every Mass Effect with subsequent iterations. Will the winning streak continue with Mass Effect 4? We shall see.
Fallout 4:
It’s been several years since Fallout 3 came out and if the rumors in the interwebs are to be believed then Bethesda Game Studios are currently preparing for a grand reveal at this year’s Video Game Awards. Domain registrations, hiring next gen programmers all hint towards a PS4, Xbox One, PC launch. Whether it will actually be released in 2014 is a different matter. But historically speaking, games developed by Bethesda are released in a year’s time since the offficial announcement. So 2014 seems like a good bet.
Darkest Dungeon:
Red Hook Studios, the developers have described the game as a hardcore role playing game which takes place 500 feet beneath the ground. This is quite a unique setting for a rpg genre and a unique departure compared to other games. Emotion is one of the major gameplay feature in the game, with the situation affecting your party. Members may get scared, panic or might even get greedy. The game is scheduled to be released on PC/Mac/Linux with console ports in consideration. Unfortunately the game has a fall 2014 release schedule, so you won’t be playing it anytime soon.
After thoughts:
Fans of the RPG genre are certainly going to have a wonderful selection of titles starting at the new year. Even if you haven’t decided what new console you’re getting, or if you’re getting one at all, there is plenty of games that will be available on the Xbox 360, PC and PS3. With wonderfully in-depth games coming there’s most likely going to be a little bit of something for anyone coming in 2014.
