Hi, i would like to know if my motherboard will work with the ATi AMD R9 270x....the make and model for my mobo is...MSI FM2-A55M-E33 mATX FM2 A55.

R9 270x needs PCI 3.0.

A PCI 3.0 gpu will work in a PCI 2.0 slot. They are backwards compatible. The R9 270X does NOT need PCI 3.0. So yes that card will work in your computer. My PCI 3.0 7850 works fine in my PCI 2.0 board.

Sorry, I did not think it would work. It does limit the card a bit though doesn't it?
