i have recently installed the Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H motherboard and i noticed it was booting way slower than my old MSI GD45. so i went into the app center and went into EZ setup and checked the rapid start and it is identifying my SSD as a HDD. how would i go about fixing this?

The bios should display HDD or the model name, and since it appears in the bios this means all is well, you should setup and check everything else within the OS.
