VisionTek Products LLC, (VisionTek), a leading manufacturer of award-winning, high-performance upgrades and accessories for PCs and Macs, today announced a $100 savings promotion on its CryoVenom R9 290 and CryoVenom R9 290 LE liquid cooled graphics cards. The promotion begins today and is valid for every CryoVenom R9 290 and 290LE purchased directly from VisionTek's ecommerce portal - until June 3 or until card supplies last.

VisionTek is offering the over 15% discount promotion to celebrate CryoVenom being named a Finalist in the Best New Product - Computer Hardware Category of the 2014 American Business Awards.

Ideal for Liquid Cooled Experts and Novices
The CryoVenom R9 290 is the ideal competitive advantage solution for PC modding enthusiasts and gamers who have an existing liquid cooled system or those that seek a nearly Plug and Play entry into this performance upgrade. After a VisionTek Custom Shop team member hand builds the card, the FurMark Benchmark GPU stress utility is employed to put a 100% load on the CryoVenom R9 290's GPU for an extended time period to determine the optimum overclock setting. Those unique, certified overclock specifications are included on a hand-signed build sheet that are simply entered by the owner into the Catalyst Control Center. Each card is then extensively pressure tested to ensure leak-free cooling reliability.

Lower Operating Temperature and Near Silent Operation
The CryoVenom R9 290 provides maximum cooling performance for the GPU, RAM, and Voltage Regulation Module (VRM). Even under demanding 100% in-game usage, the card registers 125 degrees F, which is up to 38% cooler than a comparable air cooled card. Yet, unlike many air cooled graphics cards, the CryoVenom R9 290 registers just 10dB of noise...comparable to the sound level of a pin drop.

The Fastest, Coolest, Quietest Card Tested
Introduced at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, the CryoVenom R9 290 liquid cooled series has quickly become a top selling graphics card for gamers as well as 3D modeling and video rendering workstation users. Numerous reviews have praised the card, including calling it the "quietest, coolest, and fastest" single AMD GPU ever tested.

"This promotion is an excellent opportunity to own one of the best graphics cards available on the market today at the lowest price it has ever been offered at," said Mark Bilson, Executive Vice President of VisionTek. "The $100 savings can be put towards games or even more system performance upgrades like memory or a SSD."

When added to the cart they take $100 off making the CryoVenom R9 290 $500! Add a second and it's $1,100 Dang! Have to buy a second thru friends and family... But still C-F set-up for 1K, especially as upgrading an older set of cards from and existing water cooled system.

The thing that's nice about this deal is if you decide you want to do this it would cost you the same as If you bought the prats yourself the only downside is that you have to put the water block on the card's.
The card is:
ASUS DirectCU II OC R9290-DC2OC-4GD5 (400$x2 cards=800$)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121842
EK R9-290X DCII VGA Liquid Cooling Backplate (31$x2 cards=62$)
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2...Black.html?tl=c599s2078b133&id=q8RY8GMD#blank
EK Radeon R9-290X DCII VGA Liquid Cooling Block - Nickel (123$x2 cards=246$)

So in total it comes to 1108 $

You got to do "Friends & Family" and not blow off $100, while you get a 1year warranty, guaranteed 1175MHz (24%)/1450MHz (16%), custom engraved, and ooh don't forget $9 in taxes. The Asus card would be nice due to their supposed improved VRM's, while I'd skip the EK backing Plate and figure a way to keep the Asus ones, but they frown on that if I ever have to turn them in and was hope to see warranty.
