AOC today announced the g2770Pqu, a gaming-focused 27-inch widescreen display that is capable of a 144 Hz refresh rate at its (rather low) native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The monitor uses a TN panel and features a 1 ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and a stand enabling pivot, swivel, and height adjustment.

The AOC g2770Pqu is backed by a three-year warranty and is expected to become available at the end of this month priced at 419 Euro.

I wonder how this stacks up against ASUS 144Hz offerings which have pretty much the same specs on paper...

It will be somewhat cheaper as the ASUS ROG products carry an unnecessary premium.

The one i have in order is not from ROG range.

As far as I know the Asus 144hz monitors are the 24" VG248QE and 27" PG278Q. Which do you have?

The AOC g2770Pqu is probably using the base panel as in the 27" ROG PG278Q.

It's not the same panel. The PG278Q is a 1440p monitor.
This is alongside Asus VG278HE and Benq XL2720Z.
My disappointment is that its bezels are as thick as of the competitors'.

Thanks for correcting on the panel.

But I wonder how thin manufacturers can slim down the bezels? I guess there is some panel underneath the bezel?

Does anyone have the AOC i2369Vm?

How would you rate this relatively cheap 23” AH-IPS monitor?

yawn, pretty sure we are good on 120hz+ 1080p panels. Really cant see why more of them are being launched this late in the game. Bring on more 1440p 120hz+ panels
