EVGA recently introduced their new flagship SuperNOVA unit with 1600 W capacity and 80 Plus Gold efficiency. According to their description, this PSU is the ultimate tool for any highly overclocked system, and in this review, we plan to push it beyond its limits to see how it fares.

Ridiculous PSU, I fully recommend this. If the upcoming 1600P2/T2 are as good but with the passive mode as well then EVGA has a winner line up.

Interesting new platform ... I noticed there are no passive heatsinks with this design. Fan is spinning 1400 RPM at low loads ... and that's already giving 47 dB noise. At 1 kW it's 51 dB. Wow.
