What the hell is going on?
Win 8.1 will not install... rolls back every time I try to install it over Win 8.
Yes, Win 7 and 8 are installed, activated and updated.
This is on a brand new and fresh installed hard drive. I started out with Win 7 installation, went through all the Win 7 updates, then did the same for Win 8.
All seems well after doing this (time consuming for sure...) I mean, there's like 170 Win 7 updates and 100 something Win 8 updates, geezus.
I get to 8.1 and go through the entire slow process, it goes all the way to 100% complete then bombs out and does the roll back thing. Which takes forever to roll back, too.
I've tried this 3 times already and am about to give up.
I'll be 90 years old before I get done, if I get done.
Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts.

NVM... I finally got it to take. I don't know how or why, it took on the 4th. attempt and seems to be working ok. What a hassle.
Thanks anyways.
