2 X EVGA GTX 550 Ti 2GB Sli

Im thinking about upgrading my video card and I want to make the right choice.
I have $250 to spend what would be my best option on a good gaming video card for my system?

I think you should wait for the new 300 series of AMD. If you must upgrade now i say r9 290

With new cards rumored to be just around the corner, I'd pick up something used and inexpensive (unless you can wait). Hopefully will help with the depreciation once the new cards come out.

Wait for the new AMD cards, sell your current, and go forth with a larger budget.

if you can stretch your budget = 970 gtx
if you wait maybe r300 series
if you need it now 290 with aftermarket cooler.
