True. amd is the shizzle for what the give you stock.
most newbs (hope that dont offend you or anyone but I cant thinkof a better word with my little time), are scared to oc at first.. I've got my friend who was totally against overclocking (hes studying to be an electrical engineer), interested into oc'in when he buys a new custom built machine.
OC'in is extremely safe, as long as you dont go overboard or are really dumb (put to much volts/elc, cause your dumb and cant follow an oc'in guide).
Edit: with the word getting around about how amazing c2d is when overclocked.. I mean buy a e6300 overclock it and easily beat a amd fx74 is quite a feat. Word gets around in on-line communitys/games, If I knew of someone in a game that had a e6300 stock I would tell them how much faster they can get thier chip safely and link em to tpu
A high-end gaming system would not need to overclock for gaming.
Im sure if someone was reviewing c2d they would find an article about how much it overclocks and the capability of it when Overclocked. The thing zooms @3.2Ghz ram 900mhz, things open the instant I click on them... I thin thats prob about when it reaches or surpasses fx74 speeds.
For us on here e6300/e4300 > amd5600 I think thats where it would count since its tpu
and just about everyone who visits here overclocks or would consider overclocking.
but Im done with this c2d>amd wars lol.. its all over the forum now.
