IDK, A 27" 1080p (if it was WHQD they'd said it that way) on graphics that are more akin to a discrete 970 might offer good oomph right today, however in a year this level of play will feel dated. Sure you could get a Pascal MMX graphic module (14-16mo out) that would bump performance in the same power envelope, but why when just 1080p. I think if this was 1440p then it might offer some staying power for the (high) price. Then they don't include an SSD for the OS... This is nothing more $750 gaming build including 1080p monitor for what's come up on 3x the price, while not any long term upgrade path.

I've twin boys that are now turning 18, had I bought two of something akin to this AIO back then (say probably 1600x900) at the age of 13 it would've never carried me the 5+ years I've gotten out of upgrading their base systems.

That is what some people who use Apple devices suffer, bad extensibility. That is why AIOs aren't for people who like to tinker with their system hardware-wise.

Wires thing bothers me too, frankly, although I don't mind having mid or even big tower.
