AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 15.12 WHQL

As far as im concerned BMW and Audi's are beautiful cars, but this really has nothing to do with these forums, or this thread.

if you dont mind large flashy tubs withs wheels bmws are pretty good, much like renault, they do everything in-house and stuff only leaves the assembly line if its perfect, no tolerance.
audis on the other hand are just polished turds, everything after the quattro is meh at best, (to me its like the asus of cars, premium price regular stuff).
vws used to be very reliable cars, after recent events the brand lost its meaning/trust and is now no more than a cheap oem of cars (and parts).

Finally! WHQL for Radeon .

I am sick of this fanboy stuff in every AMD or Nvidia thread, can you please shut the fuck up sometimes. This is just a driver update for god sake.

Back on topic: Driver works fine, Crimson manager loads extremely fast (within Milliseconds) as usual.

Mine gets stuck at 42% everytime.. I unchecked the gaming evolved app and that's it. Uninstalled previous drivers/software, etc.
EDIT: Leaving the gaming evolved app checked locks the install at 2%!!! WTF???

XFX R9 290
Win 7 64-bit

halp?!

Get the latest version of DDU. There was a bug where DDU wasn't removing everything and driver installation (for me,) took almost 30 minutes to run getting stuck on both 2% and 42% as you described. Since then, I have installed it in less than a minute or two. Needless to say, it's from an incomplete uninstall of the previous version.

Wow..I'm dumb..
Install literally took 3 seconds after that. LOL

BENCHMARK TIME!!
:toast:

I do not know if it will work and I do not want to make Windows To Go installation on a USB hard drive just to test this theory, and the facts are:
-on AMD driver page, in that left column, there is no mention of the whole HD7000M series just of a few GPUs
-when I manually select OS and HD7000M series nothing happens on their driver page
-if I use AMD AutoDetect utility it says I have the latest driver, which is Catalyst

As always no issue's just installing over the last ones.

idk whats happening in this thread i was just scrolling through a bunch of people that seemed mad and I couldn't quite understand why because it was a driver release thread. I did want to say though that they are nice, though im not a huge fan of BMW Audis are nice interestingly enough I also for w/e reason got a thing for Volvos this year. the body styles are nice indeed.

use DDU, reboot to safe mode as it suggests, clean the driver and do clean install. worked for me with same issue.

edit: beaten to it. oh well.

I just uninstall them with the normal methor in Programs and Features, never a problem.

yeaaaah, i can overclock my HDTV to 61Hz.

PC master race!

Still shit.....back to 15.7 again for the third time :banghead:

How come AMD never pushes updates throught its software, I've been pushing the check for updates button in Radeon Software Crimson since the update and it keeps telling me I have the latest version.

Ya me too was wondering the same. May be they have not linked it to server.

Still has problem of flickering compass in FO4 and FRTC still doesn't work since first Crimson.

it only worked in DX11 until now. compass fix is in for some cards, others need the manual .dll fix on the nexus.

There's something called VFM (Value For Money) that is why people still buy German cars despite that Korean and Chinese are much cheaper.

That's marketing, not value. Ask VW owners about their German quality and value (and apparently some Audi too).

BMW with their VANOS issues...... and that's a nice coolant passthrough tube with orings that fail at anything from 1 to 60K miles, control rods need replaced.... AUDI can't make or buy an Auto slushbox to save their lives, lets use these tiny turbo's we know will fail, right as the warranty ends.

Value for the money? Buy a Subaru, Toyota, or Mitsu.

Driver fixed my random clock changes, and the clocks being locked at idle a couple times. Very good performance in every game I have tried, will have to try the FO4 fix.

The per game oc profiles fixed a game where video clocks would stick instead of 3d ones.

Oced mine to 75 just now, and it's D-SUB!

HDMI is fussy, sadly. My TV sees a signal upto 63Hz, but says 'unsupported' - beyond that its no signal.
