Hi there fellas
I was wondering what is a nice motherboard for my FX8350 that uses the newest Realtek audio ? ALC1150.
Would prefer to be under 200$ as much as possible
Thanks for the tip !

I have the Fatal1ty 990FX (non Killer) in another system of mine, no complaints over the years of near-constant use. This is an updated model with newer goodies like USB 3.1 and M.2:

Excellent suggestions ! I have a tab open for each option, will be hard to pick :)
Seems like the 970 is cheaper. Any other boards in the 970 arena ?

well not all 970 are suited for a 83XX FX chip i would recommend to get a 990X or 990FX over a 970 (depending the VRM tho )

the 1st one linked is golden and totally worth the 30$ (without rebate) or 10$ (with rebate) over the 970 linked previously

Yea that's not a lot of money anyway, I just bought and returned a Xonar STX worth 150$ because I thought the driver was a shame for humans, as a race in this universe.... So what's 100 for a new board with a proper audio chip ?

Say, any chance the AM3 socket will have any kind of future past the FX-9xxx ? Not that I REALLY care, it's not such a big investment anyway and the FX-8 is over-powered for what I do anyway.

I'm pretty sure AMD is moving beyond AM3 with their new CPU lineup.
