Hey guys, im looking for a cheap used i5 or i7 cpu for socket 1155. seeing how its older i would think the prices wouldnt be as high as the new cpus out there.

looking for i5 or i7, bonus points for unlocked K models.

under 150. thinking i may just sell the 1155 sabertooth board and get z97 sabertooth and 4670k instead. seems to be impossible to find older cpus. newer ones just as cheap.

Ya that's the same thing I've been running into...folks are awfully proud of their 2600/2700 and 3570/3770K's...when you can snag a new 4670k for $200 or so...it makes no sense to pay $150+ for a used 3570k imho...

Hell ya dude, I'd absolutely go that route. You always had a knack for finding awesome deals too so I'm sure you'll build a budget Haswell for the price of a budget Ivy Bridge build. :toast:
