I have a 6TB HGST sitting in my server for games which is pretty much full and the 512GB Crucial in my machine is always filled with straight Steam library.

JBOD is linear, so you could probably just use mdadm to split it in half (or give yourself a gig or two of elbow room in the middle) and put the pieces in a RAID-0 array. Your motherboard might hate you for it, though.

I don't think it would make much difference. The single Reactor drive is already pushing pretty close to the SATA limit. So running in RAID0, you're still going over a single SATA connection, so the speed wouldn't really be any better.

True, it should be on sata express then this wouldn't be an issue.
