lag in new tomb raider

Hi since I started to play the new tomb raider I have noticed a lag at the beginning and if I turn the mouse quick I have tried turning things down to do with the graphics, both cards are working but in the display of the game under monitor it only shows one card, I tried slowing and speeding up the mouse but it still happens, any ideas.

Need to be more detailed than that.

What resolution are you playing at?
What detail level are you playing at?
What is the minimum, average, and max frame rate?
Are the specifications in your system spec the rig you are playing on?
Have you got the latest AMD drivers?
Are you having this problem with any other game?

Hi Dent1, sorry for not getting back to you

resolution is 2560 x 1440
detail level is Very High
don't know frame rate
yes system spec is correct
AMD Crimson 16.1.1 Hotfix Beta 64 bit
no problems in any other game ie Fallout 4 or Call of Duty latest, both are turned up to full
I had the same problems with the AMD 15.12 drivers.

Try the new AMD 16.2 beta driver http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2630/amd-crimson-16-2-beta-win-7-8-10-64-bit/

Lots of people are complaining about Rise of the Tomb Raider. I think its just one of those badly optimised games. You might have to turn the resolution and/or detail settings down.

Hi just tried them and it was a lot worse the lag was constant, I will try turning things down.
