How to get DTS sound over HDMI

Hi!

I modded my realtek drivers so that i can use DTS and DD sound over optical cable and my speakers show that it is DTS.
When i select that the sound travels thru HMDI i cant get DTS only the crappy surround sound of my speekers.
How can i get DTS over HDMI?

Not enough information.

What realtek board do you have?
What speaker system do you have?
AV receiver? Home theatre in a box (brand / model)

If DTS works over optical cable just leave it. The quality wont improve over HDMI.
