Not able to access Pendrive connected to host in Vmware machine..

Hi Guys,

I am not able to access Pendrive connected to host in Vmware machine., what is the best way to do that?
I am using VMWARE Workstation 8.
Seen some youtube videos but still no success , so now would like to hear from experts here.

do you have USB Controller enabled on that VM , and attached the pendrive

Windows Server 2012 R2, also please tell me how to access local drives in Virtual machine.

Hi after installing usb 3.0 drivers on virtual machine I am able to access my 2 TB drive on Virtual machine. Yes I used the same settings shown above under VM tab. But I am still to check on how to share local machines shared folders/drive contents in VM.
