Just a little background before the main question!
Several years ago I moved to a rural area that had no viable high speed internet options excluding satellite which wasn't an option due to the added latency while playing online games. For the longest time I was limited to using 3g via my cellphone provider before 4g was available.
Now a company is rolling out gigabyte fiber in my area, I'm signed up and waiting for the lines to be installed!
Now on to my question. I'm looking for a decent router that can support up to 4 wired devices (including my computer) as well as a wireless option for my iphone.
Since I've been out of the loop when it comes to home routers since back in the 10/100 days, I'm looking for a decent router that can support up to 1 gig speeds for a decent price. I prefer under 100.00 if that's possible, but willing to go up IF I need to, but hoping to not go over 200.00. Wired speed is more important to me vs wireless range as I live in a smaller home and wifi range isn't really an issue for me.
If I left out any pertinent information, please feel free to ask and thanks in advance for any advice provided!
