It's about the status window, not the confirmation window...
It's checked on my Pro version !
Oh my GOD!
Could you be more dramatic?
I'm no PC whiz by no means, but I do understand speed problems for gaming. I don't game. So, my understanding of the confirmation window affecting the speed of _______, well, it must be pretty drastic to cause so much anxiety.....
......I see a daytime Emmy here.....anyway, either it's an inconvenience-having to stop, make a decision, follow through with the decision and push the "yes" button after moving the cursor , either by mouse, touch pad or touch screen. Curiosity begs, have you backed up everything on your not pro version and moved your pro version to the not the pro version? Are you able to sit them next to each other, open "Device Manager" and maybe see what the major differences are there , that would affect what your looking for elsewhere.
Very good major points have been made: RPM-vs-SSD: hand down, I don't care who makes it, SSD is gonna make RPM pay in the long run. Think about the structure: Everything in a laptop is more or less a "direct connection", while desktops are wired up, and workstations are...something in between. The lesson is the shorter the space between 2 items and the bigger the area to push info through the faster it will move from one place to the next-(yet wireless still remains a mystery to me.....faith? can't see it ya know) But I have not really seeing where you have checked your page file system-which by the way really do work and if everything is indexed for faster searching-it will cause a increase in system speed also. An OS can be "V-blah-blah.1.2.3" and be in a laptop, a desk top, a work station, a Android, a phone, a Mac, and a turddesigned P-2: Question, do they all run the same speed, and always appear the same? Doubt it. When you go to a doctors office, the in room PC's, they are all slaves to the main frame, yet they are all sometimes the same denomination. Accounting, appointments, front desk...different for a reason.
I have 3 Intel® Core™ Duo T730 @ 2.00GHz 4GB RAM (Corsair), all running Win 7 Pro. Government sale. So why does one not have a place called "Saved Games"? The smart one does. But it lacks in the video quality department for streaming. These are "Hardly Possible dv9000's" with add in video/TV cards, and one does not ever find the correct driver to make it work. One only wants to work right with Windows Word while the other two use Student 2007, will not change over for some reason to different versions and work well.
When you get to the bottom of that darn confirmation window problem, well, I'd like to know if it helped you relax a little
and thank everyone who helped you-and all the people who came here and learned something today. I learned you can ®click the your recycle bin and select properties and then check "
Display delete confirmation dialog" to get that box back. Never thought about it that way. It worked!
Thank you Mindweaver.,
So, off we go to the recycle bin to recover anything lost by accident-damn Government putters anyway-just don't understand the "new in box-never used-part.......
