Here are some of the first pictures of EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC (superclocked) graphics card. This will likely be the most affordable GTX 1070 offering by the company, yet its loaded. Besides a small but handy factory-overclock, you get EVGA's custom-design ACX 3.0 cooling solution, the same variant that debuted with the GTX 1080 SC. EVGA goofed up on the back-plate for its Computex exhibit, but you will get a proper back-plate. The card appears to be based on a custom-design PCB by EVGA that's closely modeled along NVIDIA reference PCB. It draws power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector.

Even though it seems like everyone is bashing EVGA on the ACX 3.0 design, I actually really like it...

Is there any reason why the EVGA 1070 has got a 1080 backplate.:D

Read the blurb, they goofed for Computex. Most likely didn't have one ready.
Personally that is trivial and won't affect it's performance.
I looks like the name plate on the edge can be removed, for those with tight spaces, and in case you have an aversion to RGB.

I can read the blurb but my point still stands, it is unprofessional.

True, a small piece of black tape over that would have been an improvement.

Good to see they're sticking with one connector. As someone who uses mid-range cards, this makes the 1070 o possible upgrade option for me, if the price is right.

You're not alone. I love the way they look. No flashy colours and they don't look like they're made from flimsy plastic like the acx2.0.

Currently using the EVGA 970 (cheapest model I think I got), might be worth the upgrade to the 1070

Nothing worse than fake gold coloring.

Looks, and with these types of coolers it helps greatly against the PCB bending.
