I don't mind it, I've played some sim-date for fun

I.e.: RomanceXHighschool (steam, more funny side than sex side ) or Hitomebore ("love at first sight" steam also, nice story ) for pure romance games.

If it's in a RPG, as long as it brings something to the story I don't mind it either.

To me it honestly depends on the game. Sakura Spirit was pretty heavy on the lust side of things with it implying quite a bit of the naughty, but it did show extreme affection between characters.

Too much boob though.

JPRGS have some good examples. Shulk and Fiora in Xenoblade Chronicles, Emil and Marta in Tales or Symphonia or Zack and Aerith in Crisis Core.

Nothing was forced, looked quite organic without slutty stuff. Maybe because their relationships played a vital part and made story more interesting.

And that flirt between Leon and Ada in Resident Evil games is good too.

No offense to anyone intended but romancing NPC's in a game reeks to me. I avoid it naturally. There are more clever ways for developer/ writers to draw a person in to the story than that cheap stuff. I guess it adds to the immersion in the story for some who want that connection with a NPC but it doesn't really add any depth for me.
