Would you like RGB lighting on all your hardware?

My pc is in my bedroom and i live in this room so the last thing i want is a load of annoying RGB lights or flashing stuff, i can't even stand teh blue fan in the pc but cant afford to replace it atm.

I generally don't care much for looks, but wouldn't mind lighting when I'm actually using the PC. As long as I could also turn the lights off so I could still sleep while my PC is on

Would I like RGB lights? Yes. Would I pay extra for the RGB lights? No. The poll only asked the first question, so I answered a "Yes on all".

I'm concerned that these LEDs are primarily a reason to increase prices and improve margins. However, I fully expect that whether you like the LEDs or not, the non-LED version of the equivalent product will not be cheaper (i.e. both will get price increases).

I've got an RGB keyboard which looks really nice. On top of that, I can see the keys in the dark, which is very useful to me.

I simply don't care for the option. It is the least deciding thing there.

The main point point is having matching basic theme still... It is all white, or black and red etc... I still do that.

But... CCFL era is back... not the first time... some Vapochill taste needs be added too... and year 2005 is back.

Case came with white LED fans (Corsair Carbide 500R), so when my FTW shows up I'll be changing it's lighting to white as well.

Keyboard is a Gen1 G15. So that stays as it is, and is helpful when I need to see what key I'm pressing.

I don't mind the bling, but I want the option to control brightness or if it is on.

I dont care about leds much, they certainly are not a factor when im buying stuff, when i got a new mouse i had to turn one led off because the glowing logo was too distracting while watching stuff but hey people seem to like the stuff and are ready to pay a hefty premium for some leds and a 'gamer' tag, and its already spread past accessories into ram sticks and cooling solutions, hell even whole motherboards with led lightning, but as long as regular versions still exist i guess im fine with it

Surprised to see some of the hate towards RGB to be honest. Every product I've seen with it allows you to configure a color or just turn it off.

I like options. That's why I build PCs.

I also like strange colors like orange and teal - RGB allows for an accent color you wouldn't have access to otherwise, and you can choose whatever you want. Or - just turn them off. I like that option too. The more options the better.

Actually curious about this one - how was this determined? Why would business develop and deploy a feature that most users don't want or care about? The hiking prices makes sense though... I would think that we're only seeing so many RGB products because those have sold better previously than non-RGB products, but I don't have any data to support that point either.
