PSA: No your 9xxx gpu is not worth 350 dollars

I expect the 980 Tis to stay in the 350 range when the 1070 is readily available. To this day I still see people trying to sell 780 Tis for more than a 970.

1070 is faster then a 98ti uses less power and is only 380 bucks

if you are selling a NV 9xx Gpu expect it to sell for 300 at the max(assuming its a mint AIB card) I don't care if its a 980ti or a 970 because the 1070 retails at 380 bucks and its faster

OK, for you, the card is not worth much, but that's your personal opinion, not a "public service announcement".

Plus, you don't find me selling stuff on forums or the used market. Someone wants to buy something I got, I give them a fair deal for sure, but that has nothing to do with anything you've posted.

I got that card for 350$ in Winnipeg two nights ago second hand. Not a chance I would pay anywhere close to 700$. Ridiculous prices still.

Depending where you live. In the USA it might be 70-80 dollars. In my country they sell for 80-90 euros (about 90-100 dollars)

Paid $250 shipped for mine months ago straight from eVGA. $240 isn't particularly great

I got one new in box for $225 months ago from a retailer on ebay. I wouldn't pay over $150 for one now, but there's a big disconnect between what cards are worth to savvy buyers vs what things can actually be sold for.

Here is the fun part. I'm most likely going to pass my two 780s to a friend who needs them rather than selling. Considering the best GPU he's used is a HD5870 (I'm looking at you Norton) and when SLI works it runs like a 980ti, it still works damn well. Pascal seems to be the biggest jump recently and it'll kill the 700 and 900 series pricing. I could bump to 980ti sli and be content for less than the price of a 1080 in the near future.

I know of a few people, myself included, who are planning to give away 780/780 tis to friends and family because they're expecting such a severe price collapse. A lot of old cards still provide relevant performance, prices between models are going to get really blurred in the used market. There's going to be a lot of choices in the sub $200 range very soon.
