Hi so before I start with my problem sone basic information about my pc.
Core i7-5820k at base clock
Sabertooth x99 motherboard
Be quiet! Dark rock 3
Be quiet silent base 800 wit a side panel windows (I'll return to that later)
Seasonic platinum 1000w

Now the peripherals (asus rog swift pg278q,logitech proteus g502,corsair k70 rgb, logitech 5.1 channel speakers)
2 ups: pce 600w for monitor and pc and 340w pce for speakers plugged in the same outlet.the small one is 5 years older than the other one.
Note: I though my outlet wasn't grounded properly but I got a reading of between 2-5 ohm so it's not the issue.
Sorry for the long spec list but I guess it's gonna be important.

So the problem is that my pc is shutting down randomly with no reason or error code. When I turn it back one no problemshow up... it turn on normally. But I've been seeing that it's taking longer to boot from the ssd but usually when copying files on it the speed is normal.when the error happen the ups are on and doesn't beep or something. (One time I heard some noise coming out from on of the 2 before the pc shut down...strange)it happen when I'm gaming or when working on light task not specific. Today when turning the thing back on it started applying windows 10 updates...not sure if it's related.I have normal temps and the failure rate of my psu is relatively small as it costed me 250$.voltage is very accurate as I can see in the bios ... approx 0.992 volt at base clock. I dont understand what's happening (I did a bios update before and it started shutting down randomly...before it gave an asus anti surge error but it wasn't grounded and reverse polarized. Now everything is fine and it still shut down randomly but with no error. It turn on very normally after this. My bios version is 2001 now.my ups aren't pure sine wave ups and my ups is pfc... could it be the cause? Give me your though. Id like to work toward fixing this from the simplest software tweaks first and then the harder stuff like changing psu parts ecT.thanks.
EDIT: I just paid attention that my ups aren't trusted ones... but it remains on when the problem happen.could it hopefully be a ups problem? I opened my event viewer and found an error ID 6008 when the shutdown happened and it said pc shutdown unexpectedly. Dont know if it helps.
Also I tested using a voltage monitoring software got on the 12v rail 12.000v and on the 5v 5.05v on the 3.3v rail 3.344 volt and on vcore i got 0.992v from the bios.all this numbers are at idle and without the upses...also when I removed the ups the pc didn't shut down bUT on ups backup it didn't even make it to the desktop ( 3 random shutdown in 45 minute, without the ups no shutdown in 1h30 approx, I shut down the pc myself) do you think it's the ups issue? Or further testing is needed? If so which?
NOTE: this thread have been posted on tomshardware with no actual reply. I'll keep up the 2 threads and update with infos from both sites and will post the solutions on the 2 websites so if someone after me get this problem he will be able to solve it...thanks

I can only suggest you to take out hardware... and test without it for a start.

Sound, RAM, even sata cables etc... if it goes off, so the fault is somewhere else.

Also a suggestion to disassemble everything out and test everything on the desk to exclude some shortcuts due to cables, washer etc things.

It sounds like the battery(s) in the UPS are in need of a replacement or that the protection in the UPS has worn out.

Pull batteries and check voltage individually. Visually check UPS circuits for swollen caps or damaged areas.

Safety: After you pull battery(s), hold down UPS power button to drain caps.

I'm gonna check out the ups but I have a question. My ups is stepped wave and my psu have active pfc built in ... could it be the cause? I'm getting a bigger ups this month anyway (1050w sine waves with 2 100 ah batteries so I can decently overclock).

Could be, maybe, one of a couple of things...ASUS Anti-surge is misbehaving; or, it had found a problem with the power. If you are sure your power is ok, try disabling ASUS Anti-Surge in the BIOS and test.

I got this shitty ups for 80$ buck from a rippoff guy and on the website it's approx 50$ so I can't say it's a good one in any way. Asus anti surge isn't being triggered as I'm not having the error message...had it but not anymore...im gonna look at this ups first now...the new one is gonna cost me around 500-600$ so...do you think a 780w sine wave one I'd enough or I should go for at least 900w? anyway where in the bios cam i turn off anti surge? Is it dangerous?

This specific model isn't available where I live, only the 780w version is.I need a ups for when the power goes off which is frequent here.but it would overload If too small.anyway I opened the ups and found some solid white material solidified at one side of a cap, like if it was a liquid that went down and solidified.and the batteries are giving 24v but the power from the output is on one outlet 0 and on another 150v which isn't 220v as where I live.on norma ac it gives 200 to 220v...

That might be glue and a non issue, can't tell.
BUT, that cap in the low right corner, bent to one side, check to see if the cap is bulging from the bottom. They don't always fail from the top.

FYI, the protection circuit can only take so many hits before it degrades and/or fails.

Its bulging but now I have another thing to point to. I noticed that the random shutdown occurs only when the second ups for the speakers is turned on also...in a previous thread someone said that if the 2 ups don't have the same 100% frequency and volrage it can cause the psu to notice the difference and shut down.could it just be that my pfc unit doesn't like the waveform?

I can't speak to the speakers, I assume that each UPS is plugged into the wall and not each other.
Also, it most likely does not like the waveform. Clipped waves are hard on sensitive electronics. You could wear out your equipment early.

Caps, really, seem ok.
However, the device you speak of is a coil (labeled L2) and the white stuff is hot melt on it.

Asus anti surge isn't being triggered as I'm not having the error message...

Try disabling it and testing... just because you are not getting an error from it, does not mean it ain't causing trouble. Google it and you will see a few threads were it is the cause of the same or similar problems.

Ill disable it after getting a reputable ups so I'll be able to trust my electricity... the electric power here isn't to trust and further the building have a personnal generator for the hours of off grid.I heard my uncle (the electrican who opened this crap) saying he added distilled water to the battery or what...didn't understand.anyway from when he did this I'm not getting the shutdowns anymore...seems like a good temporary solution.I'll keep you updated.1 more question: do you think that if I disable anti-surge would it be a safety hazard?just to know...

After talking with a reputable ups selling shop I'm getting the cyberpower OLS1000E. It's online pure sine wave ups with 850w output.4 type b outlet so I don't need adapters.I've found it for 436 bucks.it's arriving next Monday to my home. I'm also getting a longer power cable for my pc as its very short and may be the issue (If the cable is small it's sometimes getting pulled off from the ups for no reason. Actually I've not seen this problem from Saturday so I guess this temp solution works. If it still persist I'll disable anti surge. Thanks for your help. Gonna keep you updated.

Sounds like you might have bad RAM. Have you run it through Memtest86? If your RAM checks out, check that your CPU is not overheating. If that is ok, then it will most likely be your power supply. Follow these steps in this order and let me know what you find. Thanks!

Memtest is not outdated.

I agree. Just burned a new version a month ago. http://memtest86.com/

After talking with a reputable ups selling shop I'm getting the cyberpower OLS1000E.

http://www.cpsww.com.au/Product/Product/GetProduct?id=1071&mid=77
Battery

Runtime at Half Load (min) 16
Runtime at Full Load (min) 6
Battery Type Sealed Lead-Acid
Battery Number 1228WS
Battery Size 12V/7AH
Battery Quantity 3
Typical Recharge Time 5 Hours
Smart Battery Management (SBM) Mode Yes
Extended Battery Module BPSE36V45A

I'm getting a bigger ups this month anyway (1050w sine waves with 2 100 ah batteries so I can decently overclock).

You have downsized the batteries from 2x 100ah to 3x 7ah. My question is, are you going to replace the new batteries in the new Cyberpower OLS1000E unit with the old batteries or leave it alone? Not saying you should, as it may cause issues/damage for/to the new Cyberpower UPS.

LOL@ memtest,
So out dated, did you read that at another forum?
All I use is Memtest86 and it never fails me. So, even if what you are saying is true (which is not), I will keep using it :)

I already tested with memtest86 and no error found.the guy at cyberpower told me that it's a better alternative as its online and it can run my rig for 20min on normal use. So I though the other option is not worth it and is 600$ cost with a high switch time of 9ms. It may cause my monitor to flicker(happens with my actual one) I'm not running off grid for more than 15min at the most. It's the perfect solution for me here.I guess it's just the ups. I'm not gonna blame a 250$ psu and advocate a 60$ ups.I can later on add a 45a expansion pack to double the runtime.

This?
The CyberPower’s BPSE36V45A Battery Pack significantly extends runtime during power outages for Smart App Online OLS1000E/ OLS1500E/ OLS1000EXL/ OLS1500EXL models.

The BPSE36V45A external battery pack houses six (6) 12V 7Ah batteries, connected serially in two (2) strings of three (3) batteries. It is designed to match the Smart App Online UPS OLS1000E/ OLS1500E/ OLS1000EXL/ OLS1500EXL models and deployed in tower configuration.

For OLS1000E/ OLS1500E models, up to 2 battery packs can be daisy-chained to the UPS for extended runtimes; for OLS1000EXL/ OLS1500EXL, the external battery packs can be added up to 10 for your maximum flexibility.
