Google said that Brits are looking up what this BREXIT thing they voted on as if they dont know what the vote was for...

Price raises might be temporary once the economy there stabilizes again.

Considering how much the pound has dropped in value, yes it will directly affect the cost of pretty much everything that's being imported to the UK.

Oh while ocers have got their crystal balls out can they tell me next week's lottery numbers, I am surprised you're posting this fud tbh as that's all it is.

Go and see how much it has actually fallen.....

This isn't surprising but as a country we have a few more important things to worry about than how much computer hardware costs.

Anyone who voted out and didn't expect everything to get more expensive was in a dream world.

GPU's for the most of us are luxury items so if they costs more so be it.

We all have a couple of years to get finances in order to be prepared for when we actually leave the EU as it will be much worse then.

As a guy who work with people on IT market, I can tell you that was to be expected(the rise of IT prices), and the 5-10% you see now it is just the begining of this Brexit, if this will be finished, then you will see high prices, also a lot of IT multinational company are on hold with all the invest money in UK, as a world driven by economy goals, this was a bad move for UK people from point of view of economy/wealth(at least on short therm(this mean next 5-10yrs)), USA already told them before this, that they will go for a large market than for smaller one(they will talk with EU before UK, as any businessman will do)...I don't know how good will be for UK on rest than economy side, for sure, immigrants will be less, this mean high value for the ones remaining, more jobs for brits(to take garbage, nurse,...), less money for education and research...a good think, the brits can come in EU(France) in less than few hours to buy cheaper the IT stuff...now the freedom it is the best thing in life, if you have a life, because starving to death on a island will not do good to life...it will be funny for some to see the brits as immigrants in EU...

They said a lot of bad things will happen to Norway if it refuses to join the EU, they were lying, Norway's economy has only gotten stronger since.
Norway it is one of big players in oil/gas market of today, 'Petroleum activities have played a key role in the development of today’s welfare state in Norway'...

We could be talking about Brexit and if it is good or bad for ages. In the end lets hope that things will move in a positive direction for both Europe and UK.

As for prices, will definitely go up in Britain, because of the Pound's drop compared to US dollar

but will also go up a low percentage in Europe too. Euro also lost ground compared to US dollar.

Ever heard of the North Sea...
It is not enough to have, you must export to make money(you know, world driven by economy goals), the UK are importing, even it is less...I saw this in my country, if we have few things to export, then the country have less money, and the imported stuff have high price for residents...at UK, I don't know if it is something more than financial sector, who make/produce money(and this will go if will be a exit), also have a lot of friends who work in UK(for not so good jobs, driver, nurse, ..)and I am a little sorry for them, because they are paid greater than in my place, but it is worst for brits, you can't replace in 2yrs(until the exit it is done) all that people, to have a quality work force you need 15-20yrs to educate:
''As of 2008, just over three quarters of the UK's primary energy demand was met by oil and gas. In 2008, oil produced on the UKCS satisfied almost all domestic consumption (97%) while gas produced in the UK met about three quarters of demand.[6] In 2020, it is estimated that 70% of primary energy consumed in the UK will still come from oil and gas, even upon achievement of the Government's target to source 20% of energy from renewable sources.[11] This will be a combination of oil and gas produced domestically and imports. The UKCS has the potential to satisfy 40% of the UK's oil and gas demand in 2020, if investment is sustained''

Well, as a close neighbour of GB, I've always noticed in the past, pc hardware prices were more expensive than in EU countries.
As for current prices though, I do hope and support a quick stabilisation of economics and trade, which really shouldn't be a problem imo.

I do notice alot of doomsday thinking, I mean, where were we before all this? Were we starving? Didn't we have a bathroom? Weren't we already ordering magazines about computer tech and games? I recal buying amiga magazines, for the reviews and tips&tricks etc etc.
Listening to nowadays news, one would think there was no life before.

Go and see how much it has actually fallen.....

Value has dropped 8% within the past 24h, that isn't an insignificant amount. OTOH, whether it drops, holds or rebounds is anyone's guess, but the folks who get paid big bucks to do exactly just that say it gonna go in the downward direction first.

They said a lot of bad things will happen to Norway if it refuses to join the EU, they were lying, Norway's economy has only gotten stronger since.

Say what? Norway is heading into a serious economic crisis due to the low oil prices. They're shutting down oil rigs and are not expecting to open them any time soon, if ever. The unemployment rate has been shooting up there lately and things really aren't good in Norway, so I don't know where you get your news from. 4.6% might not be considered high, but that's 50% higher than two years ago and it's not looking like it's about to improve. Also keep in mind that Norway's biggest employer is the government, with some 60% of the population working for the government one way or another.

And it would be worse for them right now if they were part of the EU and were sharing the EU's problems.

By enough to make a difference. Personally I lost a lot of money, as a client in the UK was late to pay me and it ended up being about £1,000 down the toilet for me... :(
At least for next few days, the sharks will try to attack/play with the exchange rate(you know , to buy /sell the pound), if the bank of UK it is smart enough, will counter that(to keep the rate most stable), but in long term the bank will have to pay, I saw that before, I think the financial sharks have happy days now...

Oh while ocers have got their crystal balls out can they tell me next week's lottery numbers, I am surprised you're posting this fud tbh as that's all it is.
fud is just your opinion. If a retailer says they're gonna increase prices, you can be pretty sure that they will and by extension so will every other retailer.
