From what I read it's essentially Orcs and Humans: The Movie, which could be alright I guess.

Critics trashed it. I kinda liked it, but it could have done with being another 2 hours long to explain characters and plot. For example Garona is half orc half draenai but that's not mentioned in the film and all the critics assumed she was half human. Khadgar's actor was a bit B-movie quality, and King Lane's actor was also a little stale.

Saw the movie, not that good. If you are a Warcraft fan maybe you can go. My gf came with me, she wanted to learn about WOW, was disappointed too.

Its a screen adaptation things will differ from Lore and Games.

as far as i know the movie is realted to warcraft 1, wow is far away from the original warcraft games sir,

i'll watch it tomorrow night cause is going to be on cinemas today, premiere will be at night, so getting into cinema today will be a mess,

That is correct, it's Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. There were other races shown during the flick, but they have more of truce at this point in time which will evolve into the Alliance as it's known today. In Warcraft II Elves, Trolls, Goblins, Gnomes, The Dead, Ogres, Dragons, Eagles have a much greater impact.

Overall I really liked it. Looked good, had great fan service moments (Polymorph was cast, a character levels up with visual and sound, etc), and showed they're serious about the series. They could have made a whole slew of direct-to-video movies with the budget of this single film, each with a weak telling of historic events in their universe but they didn't. They started at the beginning and they went hard! I see it just like Iron Man kicking off the Marvel Universe. Would I have liked more range out of some of the actors? Sure, but on the other hand they have as much personality as early-era game NPCs, lol.

At this time they have past $400M USD worldwide so I assume Tides of Darkness is in the works :respect:

. I really want to re-play it now, but I think I'll pick up a copy of Warcraft III instead. It came out while I was in college and played it exactly once. Would be nice to refresh myself on the lore it introduces.

I'm not a warcraft fan at all. But I enjoyed the movie. Great visuals and entertaining. Would have been nice if it were longer though.

Cannot complain about it, great movie, excellent special and visial effects, also liked to much the way they explained the story, even when they didn't tell about the Orc/Dranei and other things they forgot,

I'll hope they will continue the saga, also cannot wait to see next movie,almost forget, Stormwind city ♥, was great, wish i could live there forever and fight like a paladin!

The CGI was always good except in a handful of places

One of my favorite parts of the movie was the Gnomes behind all the crates in IronForge :roll:

. Definitely just seeing HellScream with Gorehowl. :rockout:

. Although I hated how Khadgar was done I chuckled how he leveled up at the end.
