If you have the money to upgrade, most people will buy new gen stuff, that's how it works most of the time.

give a break ... 1156, stil great units that could also provide great gaming experience for 3 years more, take a look to old X58 systems rocking,

i do have 1156, Ivy Bridge i7 that have no problems playing and processing what ever i do trow at it... so give proofs that "Old" 1156 its outdated....

Regards,

He probably has 1333MHz RAM

even when upgrading processor is a better value option, and could help to spend the money on better things...

Oops. Those are socket 1150. OP needs 1155.

Absolutely! And a case. Must upgrade that case!
noticed! thanks for the reminder!

+1 here tooo!
Well If I upgrade the case I think I might also change the motherboard but the thing is that need to get all of that in at least 300-450 Euros(case, motherboard, cpu & if needed new ram or cpu cooler) .... I like how everyone has different opinions but I don't know what to lock on.

Parts:

Case: I think its not that hard to decide on a case since most are the same but with different features & look (Probably Corsair 200R ).

Motherboard: Well from it everything changes right ? Since each motherboard supports its socket or something like that(As I said not a technical guy :p), they are not gonna be that hard to pick also but some of you say Gigabyte or Asus but Is that a big of a deal ? I mean what are they differences ? ( Need your help here)

CPU: That's the most complicated (at least for me). I don't know what to pick ... It also has to do with the motherboard (i5 6600K ? Tell me what do you think about it)

CPU Cooler: I will go for the Cooler master 212 Evo.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (If you think that it is bad then suggest something else)

I know I'm a person that takes a really long time to decide but at the very end its worth it, isn't it ?

great! how is the price where do you live?

if you decide to get new proceesor model like skylake one, you must replace your current motherboard, also ram so uprade easily will reach $400 or more...

If you decide to keep your H61 motherboard you cold get an i5 / i7 used for less money and get an excellent cooler, for example this:
intel i5 3470
thats a great processor that will work without problems on your computer, offers 4 cores, 4 threads... and you have not reason to upgrade your current DDR3 ram on the same board, so you will save money for a better cooler / case, also can add water to your rig for example this: Corsair Hydro Series H60 , great cooler,

I know I'm a person that takes a really long time to decide but at the very end its worth it, isn't it ?
i just noticed.. :banghead:

Update:
I got some ideas here and there and this is what my current list looks like:
PartPicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/dvDbjc

I have some questions:
1) You have probably seen many times that he fan of the cpu cooler is kinda right above the RAM sticks and I've been told that the RAM sticks that I've selected could not fit if the fan is on their way. Could anyone who has these RAM sticks and this cooler tell me if they are okay or I will have to change something ?

2) I keep changing my mind for the CPU, I've started with i5 6600 and then I heard about not changing my motherboard and going for a i7 3770 I believe, but there is a situation that someone in my family wants a PC so now I HAVE to change my motherboard. So now I'm between i5 6600 and i7 6700... I've seen a youtube video about how they both do on multitasking and I didn't see any difference ? Only that the temperature of i7 was going up to 70C and i5 up to 60-63C. You think the i5 6600 is better than the i7 6700 ?

This should be one of the very last posts before I buy the parts. (We are close don't worry)

Why do you think you need the i7? What do you do with your PC that would make use of the 8 processing threads of the i7? If gaming is the biggest task your computer does, go for the i5.

Also, you don't need to spend that much money on RAM. You don't need DDR4 3000 RAM. Also, is there a reason for that expensive motherboard? Will you actually use all it's features (or any of them for that matter)?

Honestly, your original budget is very close to being possible to do with the upgrades you are looking for. Stretch it £26.15, and here you go-

Or just drop the Cooler Master heat sink, use the Intel stock heat sink (which will work perfectly fine for a non-K CPU), and be within your original budget.

you could go with this http://pcpartpicker.com/list/zc2KZ8 you save a small amount on ram, its 2400MHz instead of 3000 ( if you really for some reason want 3000 you can pay a bit more) should have no problem with ram clearance as these are pretty low profile. you could save a good amount on switching to a 6600/6600k (the rest could possibly be invested in a z170 mobo or to your wallet)
