Toshiba's TransMemory-EX II flash drive is geared toward the more professional user, comes in capacities of up to 128 GB, and has a 5 year warranty and a security application to password protect your valuable data. We take the drive for a spin to see whether it delivers on the performance it promises.

I think Toshiba is stuck several years behind or something. This looks like the Team Xtreem X131 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive that's been around for awhile (same OEM?). The only difference is that the Toshiba offers a better write speed while Team's offering has a more darkness-friendly red LED and has the serial on the connector. And somehow Toshiba still prices its product as if it were released a few years ago... great deal in 2012, not so great in 2016.

Clearly they forgot to change the price since 2013 as well...

Hallo Darksaber,

in the future could you please include random read/write 4KB numbers? I know most people use sticks as "data dumps", but some of us like to run programms or even an OS from them.

It seems to me that it's a little big. I like the smaller.
