I get this too.

I suspect that this is deliberate to force people to switch ABP off on TPU. If true, it's quite underhanded IMO.

Except it worked fine for me with ABP right after the change to HTTPS, and only went bad today, as if they are trying to force people not to use it. There must have been more changes behind the scenes.

As I've said several times before now, some on this thread, make those ads static and I'll be happy to look at them all day long. I think these enthusiast ads actually add to the appeal of a site like this if they're static and would be very happy to avoid blocking them.

What's the point of claiming TPU has no ads, then insisting we should "take one for the team" and disable our ad blockers?

You're also completely ignoring the numerous times I've stated that this crap is not happening on other forums with an ad blocker enabled. So at best all you can really say is if these ad blockers are detecting normal forum software as ads, and only on this site, then there's something wrong with the software to begin with.

I've also seen numerous people besides myself give examples of how inconsistently the forum software is being interpreted by it, but all you do is ignore it and say turn off your ad blockers.

Bottom line, this is clearly not the fault of just ABP or other ad blockers that use similar script. You need to check other sites to verify it's not happening there, instead of making naive excuses, and implying we're not on board enough.

This place is looking like a joke lately. That's all I have to say, ad blocker re-enabled.

I have the latest ABP (1.5.0.0)and latest easylist list... Using IE11.494.10586.0 with update version 11.0.33(KB3171016). I have no problems, either enabled or dis-abled.

Honestly, not really. And I say that as an IPv6 adopter. If Wiz is willing to pay for that rare IPv4 addy, more power to him. The internet is far from ready to switch over wholehog to IPv6 anyways.

Palemoon 64bit browser issues.

1. Text box replying missing
2. system specs "pop up" not showing
3. I cannot send any PM
4. Creating thread. I can create and type on title but doesn't post as cannot type anything. Same text box missing

Currently typing this at edge 64bit browser and edge posting is fine

I have just updated my Easylist filter and the problem went away.
I will never ever disable Adblock on any domain for whatever reason again, period (except for harmless things that block functionality and are not related to ads). I'll rather stop visiting such site entirely. That's not aimed towards TPU, that's just my stance when it comes to ads I wanted to express aloud.

When you open filter preferences, there is a button called "actions" next to each installed filter. Just click update, and it will download the most recent version.
I haven't ever figured out what weird schedule are filters updated by.

This morning, I am unable to reply to any thread with IE11 and W10. The text box to enter text is not visible. This happens with ABP enabled or disabled. I logged out and logged back in and still not able to reply.

I am not able to create new threads with IE11 either. I get the subject line and new poll boxes but not text box for the message.

Chrome and Pale Moon seem to work fine.
