I know this will seem counter intuitive but go into safe mode then open device manager and then open the Processor and then click on each of the processors listed and select disable and retest to see if BSOD's again. If it does not there is a resistor near the Processor on the mobo that is faulty. The disable MUST BE DONE IN SAFE MODE AND IS NOT EVEN AN OPTION IN NORMAL WINDOWS. Good luck!
EDIT it only takes a minute or two to test so why not.

If this works then you Processor will stay running at full speed....I have had to do this with a couple of Toshiba laptops (Intel Core 2 Duo) and this was a couple of years ago and they are still running strong like that.....the other option for me was to have the users cough up monies for a mobo replacement.

Alright, honestly I don't understand.

It seems to work, but why ?

I disabled each core in device manager and the laptop has not crashed yet.

Can you explain me ?

Even with linux live dvd or right during windows installation with the dvd, the laptop crashes.

already told you....there is a bad resistor ( i believe it is what OS's uses to adjust the power states) that usually sits near the CPU on the motherboard that is bad .... this normally means a new motherboard or just the disable trick i just taught you....up to you.

P.s Some times you can actually visually see the damaged resistor near the CPU, but not always. A jewlers loupe works well for this.
P.s.s power states are disabled in safe mode
