So i just bought my new computer ( asus-rog-g11cd-be025t ) but it's download speed barely reaches 1MB/s ( wireless adapter: Realtek 8821AE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC )while my old laptop from 3 years ago ( which was also cheaper )used to reach 5-6MB/s.
And yes they both use Wi-Fi.

"Do not disable the 5GHz band completely, rather,
segregate the two bands by opening your router settings and changing the name (SSID) of each band.
Then, simply connect to the WiFi name allocated to the2.4GHz band
"

Login to your router and change the SSID.

Or just connect to the 2.4GHz SSID if it's name is different from the 5GHz band already.

I have no acces to such things on my router.

You have, you must access it from your browser, check the manual from your router or manual from your ISP.

The services for that appear to be down

Are you logging in to your router with your default gateway IP?

To get that, run CMD and type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Whatever your default gateway IP is, that's what you need to type into your web browser to log into your router. It'll ask for a username and password, if it doesn't, it means you haven't hit the "Advanced" menus yet. Find the button that says setup or something and it should at least ask for that information then. You can usually find your username and password on the bottom of the router. You'll then find the setup stuff you need under the SSID tab.

EDIT: It may also be worth changing the settings in your driver on the actual workstation. Go to the Network Center > Change Adapter Settings > right-click your wireless adapter > Properties > Configure > Advanced.

You'll be presented with a list of things. Ensure your wireless is set to G/N/AC, set the power consumption to max, roaming tendency to aggressive, and turn off any power saving features. Just max out settings that aren't maxed out.

I have to leave it on Automatic, otherwise it asks for the password over and over again without connecting or telling me that the password is wrong

Password protection for main router is normal procedure,if you're talking about password for you to connect to the router then it would only ask for it once when you want to connect. The comp/mobile device or any other wireless devices will store the password for you to automatically connect it within range.

Depends how well positioned the realtek wireless card is and the antenna within the computer,or you can factor in there may be more connections than you or even there could be interference or your internet downspeed isn't as high as you thought.
