I hope I am posting this in the right place, a friend of mine is willing to buy an EVGA GTX1080 FTW but he is having a xeon CPU, model E5-2683V4 in his machine, mostly it would run 3.0 GHz all time by disabling the power saving options from BIOS, so will this CPU running at 3.0 GHz block that card specially he will game at 2K @ 120Hz screen.
