Sapphire Announces the Radeon RX 470 Platinum Edition

Card looks nice, but why no one does this reference exhaust blower, but with beefed up internals? HIS's IceQ had such design, blower cooler, but stacked with larger fins and added heatpipes.

I think he's got a point. I like the card.

Can I risk to put one of these into a very cramped HTPC case? Currently using a 750ti and when gaming it gets up to 80C. Would like to update but I fear the RX460 seems not a worthy upgrade. (I know I will wait for benchmarks) :)

Yeah the 470 with the blower cooler will absolutely be fine. Don't compare temps between cards considering they are all using different coolers.

Apparently I have a RX 470D Platinum OC, but later I found it to be a RX580 in disguise

Funny how it still beats 1650.

Rofl... this thread was necro'd, but still as applicable as it was almost 3 years ago.

Progress?
