Need help removing hijack malware from chrome

You have so many more steps than my virus removal. Step one reinstall OS, step two don't get another virus.

Malware bytes, spybot sd, remove chrome completely, ccleaner, hijack this. Spyware Blaster.

For sure, I will actually cover that as well for people. Mitigation and backups. I do understand clients that cant OSR (Operating System Reinstall) because of special software, (CnC machines, custom software for payment gateways etc) in which case its worth the time for a proper disinfect.

Fair, but as was said for a standard user the easiest and fastest fix will be a clean install.

About 1500 PCs at work got infected by a virus around 7 years ago, so reinstalling wasn't really practical for many reasons, let alone the shear number. On top of that we were one of the first to be infected by this virus so the a/v didn't stop it.

We had to shut down the whole network, have the virus analyzed by the a/v vendor and a fix created especially for us. Every machine was then disinfected and put back online, one by one. Huge task and the only practical way to go about it in this instance. Thankfully it wasn't especially destructive so there wasn't any damage to Windows's files or registry, just a little payload to remove and a dummy file to put in place in certain file folders on the NAS to fool potential future infections that it's already present and thus not reinfect.

I assume you have already uninstall and reinstalled it. Sometimes the problem remains and sometimes not. If not, most of the time, the attack happen again. The best thing to do is to use a trustworthy antivirus. Try SafeBytes, it's more than enough to save you from malware.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply but i finally fixed my issue. I ran malware bytes anti malware and avg fully updated in safe mode and used ccleaner to delete all my browsing data not chrome is running perfectly fine. thanks for the help everyone.
