PC froze, tried to restart but I get 19 Q-code or 6F. 19 is pre memory PCH initialization is started, 6F System agent initialization.
Hitting safe boot button takes me to logo screen and just stays there, I can not get to the BIOS.
Q-LED's, boot device LED is lit up but I suspect it is incorrectly identifying the problem. Some times it is the GPU or CPU light.
My CPU has always been dificult to get a stable OC, not a good chip, I kept the voltage just below 1.3. Some of my OC attempts took it to 1.330v.
I'm going to drain the loop and try reseating cpu but I doubt it will help. I'm going to order a 6850k but just thought I would make a quick post here to see if any of you guys have any ideas about how to be 100% sure it is the CPU.

Its very rare a CPU fails, id be more looking at your mobo to be honest, or even 1 faulty stick of RAM. Try booting with only 1 stick of RAM and report back?

Have you also tried to reset everything back to stock?

Ya I wouldn't count it out just yet, as said it's rare a CPU packs up unless it's been badly abused which doesn't seem to be the case. Break it all down with the usual troubleshooting steps before calling it dead.

@CAPSLOCKSTUCK finding another board is going to be difficult but I will try.
@Melvis OK tried all 4 sticks in the recomended slot for single stick set up, no change. Tried a stick in a second slot also no change. Hitting the straight to bios button loads default settings to ensure you can get to the bios, so yeah i have tried at stock. Your right I should not just assume that CPU is the culprit.

@Knoxx29 yup I just realized this by actually clearing the cmos and now i'm back in business, thanks for advise.
All ram reinstalled but only 12 of 16g showing. Had this before, swapping sticks around and reseating them will sometimes work, sometimes not. The last time I had this problem I set Dram Svid to disabled and the problem went away. This is not working at the moment but i'm running at stock no OC.
I may have dodgy ram or dodgy ram slot, finding that slot is not easy, spent many hours trying to identify the slot or ram stick but as it seems to be a intermittent problem, difficult to identify

It will show you in bios which slot is not running. All of that channels timings will be zeros.

I know what dimm slot it is right now, but sometimes it is another, mostly it is slot A2. If I go from BIOS to OS I will be aware of which slot it is.
I'm going to buy another kit, Corsair or Ripjaws. DDR4 is cheap right now and I have never been happy with this kit. Hopefully I can get by with this board until Skylake-E comes out. Replacing this Board right now would be a nightmare.
It has been increasingly difficult to get a stable OC with this rig.I was under the impression that the 125 strap issue with memory at 3000mhz had been fixed as of BIOS 3202 (I'm on this BIOS) but I can not 3000mhz stable at 100 strap.

The Rampage V Extreme is known to have the ram slots die, it might be your problem :/
