Greetings everyone,
I recently purchased a Dell T3600 off Ebay and upgraded with 32gb of RDIMM ecc because it was the cheapest to get and this is a second development PC. After the upgrade though, I get an error message that my PSU is not sufficient. Dell says that the 635 watt psu is required to run ECC rdimms. I am curious as to why the extra 200 watts would be necessary for using rdimms. Should I bother?
Thanks!
