So is anybody as hyped about this as I am? Seen gameplay for the first time last night. I'm sold. Looks pretty and well developed. I just hope it has sli or cfx support. Looks brutal on the gpu side. Never played the series but always interested in it.

It's worth playing DoW 2 sometime, it looks dated but gameplay wise it has a lot to offer. Fast paced battles, base building, squad customization... it's all there. Even hero characters. DoW 2 is a bit like Warhammer 40K's version of Warcraft 3.

Looking forward to this release because they're going back to DoW 2 style RTS, they've said so at least. Let's pray for some decent complexity and not a retard's version of DoW2.

I do hope it runs better than in the trailer, that was stutter heaven right there :O

I enjoyed DoW and DoW 2 honestly. The first series' RTS was solid with varying races, units, abilities and gameplay options. The seconds focus on micro and tactics was very well executed to feel tactical yet arcady in a satisfyingly violent arcadish WH-style.

I enjoyed the RTS elements of the first more though and started playing the series again recently and look very much forward to DoW3.

It is on the short list of games I want to buy for sure!

Jumping terminator suit, even if it is Gabriel, is, well... stupid. And the hugeass gatling cannons of the Imperial Knight doing so little damage.
I really refuse to buy in to what they said about graphics and performance. This is not 2009 of Dawn of War II, this is 2016.
