that's a radeon 7770, and you're in luck cuz its quicker than the 550ti by a good %

No I think it's not that - specs are the same as HD 7770. Try to select another GPU where it lists "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter".

Also here are the drivers, try them.

It's not the iGPU. That's for sure.

The strange thing is, what you got is about on par with 550ti. Are you sure you bought 550ti?

Edit: It seems 7770 is better.

that's amd's id. not NVidia.

guess the 7770 and 8760 are the same card.

If that's the case is it not supposed to show up in device manager before I install the driver for the card or?

It will show up as a VGA adapter. Install AMD driver and it will get its full name.

Just a casual question.

Were you high or something when you bought it? You may have accidently purchased an AMD card but thought you got a Nvidia card.

look at the stickers on the back of the 550ti. you're doesn't match. you have an amd HD8760 which is fine. even though they shipped you the wrong card you got the better end of the deal unless you planned solely on using that as a PhysX engine.

HAHAHA No lol, I don't do drugs, it definitely said 550 Ti I think the guy probably got confused then.

I am downloading the Driver now it'll take a while on my internet because I can only DL at 100-150kbps so I will report back on how it goes ASAP.

Btw the ports on mine are DVI, DVI-D, HDMI, and one that looks like a giant HDMI with a flat side on one side.

if it was me and i got a 7770 GHZ ed. (or even a 8760 since it's the same card) over a 550Ti i would say "BEST DAY EVER!"

a 7770 is already a league above the 550Ti ... so ... ENJOY (i would not care about a cashback since you got something better for the price of a piece of crap ... well not all X50Ti were good ... at last not the 550Ti )
as many said ... you were tricked, but me i add: for your own good

i am quite happy when i read that ... instead of the opposite :roll:
