I think it's funny you seem a bit butt-hurt about it (and you kind of should be), and you didn't pay for it. Think about how I feel, when I bought both the game and the season's pass! ROFL.

yes but dave most of use are smart enough to see ubisoft on the box and run the other way screaming

I seem to recall TDU 2 was the one in Hawaii, with horrible memory leaks. The dev team, Eden Games was shut down by Atari in 2013 after that disaster.

I played The Crew a bit more yesterday, while waiting for the sun to drop so I could play Doom in total darkness. I started seeing really strange behavior from a race car that had some username above it. It was twitching really badly, and it would disappear sometimes, then quickly hitch forward, back, etc. At times this game looks coded worse than TDU 2.

Seems Ivory Tower is where all the reject devs go to work for Ubisoft.

TDU2 was just a terrible terrible game compared to TDU I spent hours just driving around it had TrackIR support the cars felt great to drive it was the roads that were terrible. TDU 2 on the other hand had very few redeeming qualities and I honestly spent most of my time in the Casino...How they strayed so far from the near perfect formula they had with TDU I will never know. I am quite hoping Forza Horizon will scratch my open world racer itch. Thankfully there will be demo because it is stupidly priced and I'm not throwing down on it only to be disappointed.

I got the free version, and even for free..... its crap. The car handling is poor, the physical limitations of the game are crap, the indestructibility of the car and enviroment is crap. Its everything that Ubisoft has shown us they do in any car game, slap the same poor handling and mediocre graphics on with a color by number game play and then start spewing DLC and refuse to fix the issues. I bought the original TDU, and when it worked it was good, but when it worked was always the issue, it didn't work for more than 45 minutes most of the time, corrupted saves and profiles.

Ubisoft can eat a warm piece out of cold bread.

I played this up until the "Work the Body" mission in the south region where you have to destroy tons of crates by driving into them within 3 min. Never enough time on the clock, and nothing else would unlock with that mission unfinished, so I uninstalled. Total waste of time.

Might play Forza 3 when I switch to W10 though, or if it comes out on W7 like Quantum Break is.
