Make that two Gigabyte Socket AM4 motherboards have leaked. The first one is the B350M-DS3H, and the second is the B350M-D2.

Hmm, four non integrated power phases (pwm+hi&lo mosfets) ... this seems only enough for Carizzo and its 65W TDP ... some heatsinks on the VRM would be nice for Kaveri
Beefy motherboards for Zen will be much more interesting ...

Not bad for a budget board:
- Dual BIOS
- 4+3 Phases just for CPU
- M.2 slot
I like it. If it is cheap - I'll like it even more.

I agree, this is their B350 chipset but no leaked prices or anything doesn't help either. Im gonna aim for 110-130 US Dollars.

Oh yeah, it looks like there are 7 phases ... missed those north of the socket in my first post oops ... don't know how APUs work with the phases though (if some are only for the igpu like with intel)

Even if Gigabyte used their shitty components, it is still over 100W with no need for VRM cooling at all. As far as I know, AMD hasn't announced anything over 95W for this platform yet.

The one linked to in OP has a silkscreen outline for a VRM heatsink unlike the one I posted a link for (B350M-D2.)

The CPU cooling mounting bracket looks very similar with AM3/FM2 dimension wise, I wonder if old cooler will fit (the one that didn't use the bracket)

PCI slots needs to go guys... if you are holding on to a PCI card, it's simply time to get with the times and upgrade. 15 years+ is enough already. Besides, the Realtek alc1150 codecs sound as good or better than many older pci solutions.

You can buy X-Fi Titanium or Titanium HD that's available for PCIe if you wanted to use X-Fi (like me)

Let's wait for the X370 motherboards. This one looks quite boring. I hope that they will look nicer than previous AMD's motherboards. Styling and design is important, not as much for the performance as for and more appealing view at such system.
